Lucille Brasfield Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2018, at the age of 87, Lucille Brasfield (Somerset, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent John Garland; her stepchildren, Ted Brassfield, Jr., Lee Edward Brassfield, Johnny Brassfield, Virginia Burton and Juanita Dorsey; her siblings, Earl Denny Hislope, Cornelius Lester and Frances Garland; and her granddaughter Isabella Raine Campbell.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Baker Garland; her children, Robert Brassfield (Maria) of West Virginia, Carrie Childers (Leonard) of Burnside, Jean Carr (Mike) of Nicholasville and Mary Lou Hunter; her friend Harold Tumbleson of McCreary County; and her siblings, James Hislope (Trulane) of Richmond, Lowell Garland of Eubank, Shirley Reynolds of Ferguson, Mary Strunk of Lexington and Edna Root of Somerset. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of Flowers, contributions are suggested to the High Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
