She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie O Dykes and Gracie Baker Dykes; her husband Charles E. Ping; and her brothers, Ancie, Jessie, Curtis, Commodore, William, Arthur, Cyrus and Jewell Dykes.
She is survived by: her former husband Edward H. Ping; her children, Carolyn Holt, Linda Sue Hargis of Somerset and Charles Ping (Karen) of Indiana; her grandchildren, Billy Owens, Allen Owen, Pamala Sawyers (John) and Matthew Harness; her stepgrandchildren, Lonnie Headley of Indiana and Misty Hydell of Indiana; her great grandchildren, Cassidy Ray May (Alex), Nick and Josh Runyon; and her sisters, Rose Ella Bradley, Betty Goodin, Geneva Dykes, Eva Dykes, Helen Flynn, Clementine Warren, Flonnie Hardwick and Fern Virlardo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
