It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Delk (Somerset, Kentucky), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Caleb Hargis and Viola Stogsdill Hargis; her husband Herman Delk; her children, Sheila Kaye Delk, Danny Delk, William Rollin Delk and Randall Lee Delk; her siblings, Delmar Hargis, Edgar Hargis, Edward Hargis, Luther Hargis, Christine Oaks, Ruth Wallace and Myrtle Dickerson; and her granddaughter Robin Delk.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Richard Delk of Nancy, James Royce Delk (Kaye) of Nancy and Shirley McQuarter of Nancy; her sister Ethel Oaks of Crawfordsville, IN; her daughter-in-law Patsy Delk of Laurinburg, NC; her grandchildren, Shad Delk, Tracy McQuarter, Shanda Brown (Travis), Evan Delk (Jennifer) and Scott McQuarter (Laura); and her great grandchildren, William Stevens, Emily Stevens, Caitlyn Stevens, Alyson Stevens, Lincoln Covert, Everett Covert, Jolie Brown, Briston Brown, Lillian Delk, Addie Delk, Sophie Delk, Johnathan McQuarter and Ashley McQuarter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cedar Point Cemetery Fund.
