She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sawyers and Beatrice Sawyers (Garrison); and her siblings, Marcia Slavey and Michael Sawyers. She is survived by: her sister Bertha Burdine; her nieces, Jessica Slavey (Brian), Betty Ping (Rick), Jean Sawyers, Alisha Thomas and Kim Strunk (Barry); and her nephew Alan Slavey (Rhonda).
Per Marie's request arrangements shall remain private and in lieu of flowers, she had requested donations be made to the Marie Mink Memorial Fund.
