The family announces the passing of Marilyn Joy McMahon of Somerset, Kentucky on October 4, 2026. Marilyn, born on July 14, 1955, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kroll and Irene Kane Kroll; and her brothers, David Kroll and Ray Kroll. She is survived by: her sons, Nathan McMahon (Jennifer) and Shannon "Sam" McMahon (Susan) of Pacifica, California; her brother Jonathan (Debbie) of Lake Worth, Florida; her grandchildren, Nora Joy McMahon, Cassidy Meece, Tyler Meece and Katie Mounce; and her great grandchildren, Ryker Meece, Houston Mounce, Aurora Mounce and Rosie Felix. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
