Marjorie will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ernest Shadoan and Elizabeth Ellen Cundiff; her husband Raymond Collins; and her sister Beverly June Shadoan. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Scott (Dave) of Somerset and Danny Ray Collins (Karen) of Helenwood, TN; her grandchild Shelby Lath Collins (Afton) of Lincoln, NE; and her great grandchild Madison Collins. She is also survived by extended family, church family, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund in memory of Marjorie Collins.
