She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Carter and Ruby Dick Carter; her husband Jerry Shadoan; her son Ricky Griffin; and her sister Phyllis Green.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Shadoan of London, Vickie Gregory (Gary) of Monticello, Cheryl Couch of Burnside and Melissa Harrison (Lee) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Justin Roberts, Cindy Carlson (Daniel), Joshua Bell, Brooklynn Clark (Jeff) and Courtney Griffin (Javier); and her great grandchildren, Annalee Bell, Ella Carlson, Benjamin Clark, Abigail Medina, Ruby Clark and Kaylee Carlson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
