Maxine Garrett Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maxine Garrett (Somerset, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maxine left this world on May 10, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Grider and Annie Owsley Grider; her husband Louis D. Garrett; her daughter Karen Ann Garrett; and her siblings, Daisy Gillespie, Consuella Lee, James Grider and Ralph Grider.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, William (Meredith), Kenneth (Dolores), Kesayne Green, Darrick (Andreala), Micah Garr, Frank Jr. and Ariel Ross; and her sister-in-law Cornelia Grider of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
