She was predeceased by: her father Charlie Omer Rogers; her husband Rev. James Herbert Godsey; her daughter Sharon Gayle Hughes; and her siblings, Kenneth Rogers, Ed Rogers, Charles Rogers and Irene Daulton.
She is survived by: her grandson Ryan Hughes (Jennifer); her great grandchild Abbigayle Jo Hughes; and her sister Wilma Jean Burton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
