He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Elmer and Juanita Bustle Hansel. He is survived by: his wife Judy Coffey Hansel; his son Michael Patrick Hansel (Teresa) of Somerset; his granddaughter RaeLynn Hansel; and his brother Timothy Hansel (Jackie) of Georgetown.
