He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransley Adkins and Betty Weller Adkins; and his brother Mark Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gayle Adkins of Somerset; his daughter Amanda Adkins of Georgetown, Kentucky; his stepdaughters, Valerie Gearheart of Fox, Cacia Woody of Calico Rock and Chelsey Patterson of Clinton, Arkansas; his siblings, Darrell Adkins of Canton, Terry Adkins of Vandalia, Ohio and Debbie Tackett of Vandalia, Ohio; and his close friend David Haag of Newport News, Virginia.. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.
