He is survived by: his wife Judy McCalister Slavey; his children, Larry "Kevin" Slavey (Whitni) of Monroe, OH and Erica Pittman (Jason) of Somerset; his brothers, David "Carlisle" Slavey (Nancy) of Somerset and John William Slavey (Maxine) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Samantha Tyler (Todd), Hunter Pittman and Landon Pittman; and his great grandchild Lawson Tyler.
