He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Bray and Nanie Lizzie Bray (Neely); and his siblings, Billy Bray, Bobby Bray, Kenneth Bray, Brenda Bray, Wilma Buchanan, Anna Lee Haynes and Wanda Faye Auxier.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Bray, Michael Bray (Brenda), Donna Taylor (Pete) and Mary Troxtle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
