He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Simpson and Mazie Simpson (Barnett); and his brothers, Lloyd and Mack Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Simpson (Watkins); his children, Laura LaShel Hodges (Mark) and Daron Scott Simpson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Chelsea Bridges (Jacob) and Zachary Simpson (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Jaci Bridges and Grayson Simpson; and his brother Curtis Jack Simpson (Deevon).
