She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bray and Josephine Hargis Bray; her siblings, William Bray, Wesley Bray, Kathy Gibson, Bonnie Davis, Evelyn Stewart, Donna Faye Burton and Wanda Ridener; and her granddaughter Veronica.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Simpson; her children, Ernest Simpson, Jr. (Kaylee) of Somerset, Misty Abbott (Jordan Jones) of Somerset, Angela Bevins (Steven) of Louisville and Tammy Simpson (Jeffrey) of Somerset; her siblings, Ronald Bray of Somerset and Linda Acton of Somerset; and her grandchildren, Nakesha, Austin, Chaz, Zachary, Kailey, Alexis, Alex, James, Bruce, Kasey, Christopher, Berney, Kevin, Cody, Christian, Bobby, Natalee, Katlyn and Bentley. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
