He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Layne and Opal Layne (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Judy Layne (Coleman); his son James Randell Layne (Samantha); his grandchildren, Xavier, Cameron, Elijah, Gavin Layne and Sidney Bess; and his sister Kay Clark (Steve). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, the Coleman family, and friends.
