With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Wright (Somerset, Kentucky), born in Devol, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wright and Vie Anna Wright; and his daughter Karen (Wright). He is survived by: his brother J. W.; his wife Janie Gumm Wright; his sister Donna Scott; his children, Steven Darrell Wright, Brian Cabbott Wright (Dawn) and Brenda "Monet" Davis (Stephen); his adoptive son James West (Becky Perkins); his pet Jax; his former wife Doris; his child Raylene; and also Cheeto. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pulaski Funeral Home (165 KY-2227, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home (165 KY-2227, Somerset, KY 42503).
