Rebecca Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 50, Rebecca Cox of Somerset, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rebecca farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rebecca is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Glen Hopper. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Griffith Hopper; and her close friends, Adam Davis, Dave Curry and Cheyenne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, and great aunts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
