With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Ruth Carr of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Bro. S. David Carr and Gwen Chitwood Carr of Somerset, Kentucky.; her fiancé Stephen; her caregiver Stephen Snell of Somerset, Kentucky; her children, Austin Bledsoe (Lauren) of Lexington, Matthew Slusher (Lindsay) of Lake Herrington, Kentucky, Kayla Carr of Lexington and Brooklyn Bledsoe of Somerset; her siblings, Justin Carr (Jeanie) of Erwin, Tennessee and Rachel Lange (Nathan) of Science Hill, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Emersyn, Blakely, Claire, Thomas, Luci and Linden. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501).
