The memory of Renee Dawn Long of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 54, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Ellis and Roger Ellis of West Virginia; and her mother-in-law Elizabeth E. Long of Somerset. She is survived by: her sister April; her husband David Long; her stepdaughters, Erin Long and Megan Long (Michael Brown); her grandchildren, Henry Mackay and Louisa Ebbitt; her nephews, Blake Chambers (Shawnetta Brumley) and Gage Chambers (Alexandra); her brother Roger "Rogie" Ellis; and her siblings' children, Chilio Ellis and Brandon Ellis (Mckinley).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mildred's Catholic Church (653 Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society, 179 Chris Way, Somerset, Kentucky 42501.
