He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Fields and Mildred Edgile Coleman; his wife Cindy Fields; his son Scott Fields; and his siblings, David Fields and Margaret Hrbek.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Fields (Cindy) of Olive Branch, MS and Kim Thayer Renfro (Michael) of Somerset; his siblings, Jim Fields (Dee) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Judith Riggins (Bill) of Durham, NC; and his grandchildren, Bryce Fields, Shelbi Fields, Jacob Thayer and Eli Thayer.
