He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Burton and Janie Burton; his brother Dennis Crouch; and his nephews, Sonny Garrett and Anthony Wilson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Doug Crouch (Sharon), Otis "PeeWee" Burton (Rogena Muncy), Marlene Wilson, Jeanie Mays, Zachary "Buck" Burton (Trish) and Chris Burton (Lisa); his sister-in-law Jackie Crouch; his children, Wendi Flanagan (Holly) and Jake Flanagan (Kiersten); his grandchildren, Lincoln, Kace, Boone and Kash Flanagan; his nieces and nephews, Kim Garrett, Brent, Denise Crouch, Mark, Brian Muncy, Lesley Cannon, Devin Burton of Danielle Mays, A. J, Nikki King, Brittany Cundiff and Kristen Burton; and his close friends, Phillip King and Shawn Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
