She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin McWilliams and Bessie Elder McWilliams; her husband Noah Poynter; and her siblings, Margaret McWilliams, Anna Mae Nicely, Wilma Wilburn and David McWilliams.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Farmer (Jerry) and Robert Poynter (Dalene); her grandchildren, Christa Christenbury (John), Melinda Flynn, Angela Farmer and Lucas Poynter (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Stephanie Dye (Matt), Acey Ball (Kyle), Abbie Farmer, Amie Christenbury, Sarah Christenbury, Kaitlyn Christenbury, Adria Poynter, Julia Poynter, Ansley Poynter, Emmalyn Poynter and Maddox Flynn; and her great great grandchildren, Xander Farmer, Oliver Farmer, Lennox Dye and Riley Christenbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
