He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Dye; his parents, Ella Dye and Chester Dye; and his siblings, Albert, Arthur, Red, T. J. Dye and Evelyn Carter (Dye).
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Loya-Johanneman; his son-in-law Matthew Johanneman; his grandchildren, Taylor Glenn Loya-Whiteley, Brittany Loya, Lucy Johanneman and William Whiteley; and his great grandchildren, William and Isabella Whiteley.
