It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Ray Tarter of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Tarter and Eugenia Flynn Tarter. He is survived by: his wife Janice Loy Tarter; his children, Teresa Tarter Popplewell (Adrian) of Somerset and Mark Tarter (Myra) of St. Joseph, TN.; and his grandchildren, Kari Popplewell Myers (Collin), Bailey Tarter, Lily Tarter, Landon Tarter, Henry Joseph Myers and Sophie Jean Myers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland in memory of Russell Tarter.
