He is survived by: his wife Heidi Schultz Powers; his sons, Tucker Powers of Denver and Will Powers of Cincinnati, Ohio; his parents-in-law, Dr. Fred, Connie Schultz and Sherry Schultz; his sister Theresa (Tracy); his brother-in-law Stuart McIntosh; his brother Andrew Schultz; his sister-in-law Robin Henderson; his nieces and nephews, Alix McIntosh (Arun Vignesh), Chloe McIntosh (Nick Bolchoz), Ryan, Hannah Schultz (Ryan Williamson), Alice Schultz, Madelynn Henderson, Isabelle Henderson and Colin Henderson; and his great-niece Flora Schultz Williamson.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Main Chapel (165 KY-2227, Somerset, KY 42503). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Help the Homeless.
