With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Ellen Stigall of Somerset, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perk McDowell and Ella Jasper McDowell; her children, Wells Walter Stigall and Priscilla Maria Stigall; her granddaughter Patty Perkins; and her son-in-law Jeff Perkins.
She is survived by: her daughter S. Ellen Perkins; her grandchildren, Mark Coleman, Nicole Maupin (Nigel), Jeffrey Perkins and Cody Stigall (Deonte Jones); her great grandchild Erin Stampley; and her great great grandchildren, Rekenya Conner (Caleb), Makinsey Perkins, Kendall Maupin, Colton Jones and Dalton Jones. She is also survived by extended family members, church family and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
