Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shannon LaChappelle (Somerset, Kentucky), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 52, on April 4, 2024. She was predeceased by : her father JC McDowell. She is survived by : her daughter Jamie Marie LaChappelle; her mother Pamela McDowell; her brother James McDowell (Melinda) of Burnside, KY; her niece Malerie; her nephew Patrick; her cousin Sandy McDowell; her friend Emerson Hendrix of Savannah, Georgia.; and also, Kiley and Tanner.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Pulaski Funeral Home (165 KY-2227, Somerset, KY 42503).
