She is survived by: her daughter Jamie Marie LaChappelle; her mother Pamela McDowell; her brother James McDowell (Melinda) of Burnside, KY; her sibling's children, Malerie and Patrick; her cousin Sandy McDowell; her friend Emerson Hendrix of Savannah, Georgia.; and also, Kiley and Tanner.
