With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherman Parkey (Somerset, Kentucky), who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Esker Parkey and Iva Blanche Parkey (Randall); and his siblings, Glen Parkey, Edna Whitaker (Clifford), Ruby Gragg (Edwin), Pauline Beasley (Jewell) and Vera Richardson (Charles).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Louise Wilson; his children, Sandy Toohey (Roger) of Somerset, Bruce Parkey (Lisa) of Somerset, Beth Wilson (Teddy) of Somerset and Doug Parkey (Sandi) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Brooke Gehring (Chad), Holly Neikirk, Kelly Taylor (Josh), Jordan Toohey (Latoshia), Eric Wilson (Katy), Nathan Parkey (Rebecca), Jeremy Toohey (Mary), Landry Parkey, Gracyn Parkey and Madyn Parkey; and his close friends, Albert and Elaine Whitson.
