He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Johnson and Melissa Newsom Johnson Napier; his wife Wilma Jean Cook Johnson; his son Gregory Johnson; and his siblings, Sylvan Johnson, Gomer Johnson, Ira Johnson, Homer Johnson, James Napier Jr., Goldie Hall, Stella Griffith, Thelma Wells and Versie Mansfield.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Johnson of Somerset and Elizabeth Johnson of Fairfax, VA; his sister Beulah Johnson; and his grandchildren, Heather, Crystal, Corey, Katherine, Joshua and Gracie. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
