With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian J Collier of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on February 14, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Ashley and Ruth Ashley; her brothers, Carroll Ashley of Orleans, Harold Glen Ashley and Robert Ashley of Eubank; and her nephew John Charles McKinney of Eubank, Kentucky..

She is survived by: her husband Robert T. Collier; her children, Wendell L. Sloan (Janie) of Eubank, Kentucky, Robin Smith (Kevin) of Somerset, Kentucky and Tonya Helton (Harold Helton, Jr.) of Somerset, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jessica Smith Settle (Kyle), Jodie Smith Hall (Jonathan), Collier of Somerset, Kentucky and Cooper Helton of Somerset, Kentucky; her great grandchild Harrison Settle; and her siblings, Pauline "Polly" Wilson of Somerset, Rutheda Reel of Warrenton and Rev. Gerald Ashley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In leiu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Flat Lick Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
