It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Fay Wooddell of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Fay Wooddell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Jones and Ella Jones (Garland); and her siblings, James Jones and Barbara Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Howard Wooddell; her children, Lisa Clayton (Tim) of Sidney, Lori Tucker (Louis) of Somerset, KY and Lynn Rookard (Jim) of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandsons, Bruce Clayton (Crystal), Josh Rookard (Deserae) and Jacob Rookard (Deven); her great grandchildren, Elijah Bruce Clayton, EJ Rookard, Brantley Rookard, Marilyn Rookard, Tatum Rookard, Tulsa Rookard and Stone Riggs Rookard; and her siblings, Imogene "Jean" Andrews, Clinton Jones (Irene), Betty Davis, Susan Brown of Florida, Alice Alexander (Jerry) of Sidney and Sherry Tackett (Ron) of Sidney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Shelby Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Wanda's memory.
