She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dewitt Brown and Lottie Garner Brown; her husband Francis Herron; her daughter Nancy Shaner; her grandchildren, Scott Gunn and Erica Flynn; and her siblings, Elsie Jasper, Evelyn Perry, Edna Cocanougher and Glenn Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth G. Flynn, Jr. of Somerset, KY and Carol Christine Flynn of Denver, CO; and her granddaughters, Tricia Rodgers, Sarah Fitts, Heather Bridges and Rachel Meredith. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Gideons International or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
