Willena Price Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willena Price (Somerset, Kentucky), who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Whitis and Zelma Whitis (Inabnitt); her husband Ralph Price; her daughter Linda Lou Price; her siblings, Helen Moore, Ruby Ward, Bessie Fox, Mildred "Gelia" Crawford, Gene Whitis and Tevis Compton; and her son-in-law Kenneth Brinson.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Brinson of Somerset and Donald Price (Sherry) of London; her grandchildren, Melissa Gipson (Johnny), Russell Brinson, Ryan Price and Madison Vaught (Devin); her great grandchildren, Brianna Brown (Colton), Braden Gipson (Cameron), Trenton Gipson, Whitlee Brinson, Easton Vaught and Lyla Vaught; and her great great grandchildren, Madalyn Brown and Ellie Gipson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Willena Price Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses.
