William Bolin Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 1, 2026, at the age of 71, William Bolin (Somerset, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Dora Bolin and Eva Lafavers Bolin Flynn; his grandparents, Elias, Mallie Bolin, Etherd and Bertha Lafavers; his brother Jerry Ping; his nieces and nephews, Bently and Aubrey Rose; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Dale Popplewell and Jim Godby; and his nephew Dale Dion Popplewell.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Bolin (Meece); his sons, Billy Bolin (Jamie) and Kristopher Bolin (Dreama); his stepsons, Brandon Smiley (Jessica) and Zack Smiley (Haley); his grandchildren, Madison Cornett (Austin), Matthew Bolin, Piper Bolin, Maverick Bolin, Payton Bolin, Colton Bolin, Noah Smiley, Alexis Smiley, Asher Smiley and Aaron Smiley; his great grandchild Bristol Cornett; his siblings, Ricky Bolin of Louisville, KY, Ann McQueary (Kenny) of Russell Springs, KY, Bonnie Godby (Darin) of Somerset, KY, Donna Brock (Dallas) of Corbin, KY and Floyd Ping; and his friends, Ketrina Nolen and Beverly Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland in memory of William Bolin.
