He is survived by: his wife Carol Tharp; his children, Phillip, Michelle and Rachel; his grandchildren, Cicely, Lance, Karisa, Evan and Colton; his daughter-in-law Sondra; and his siblings, Lisa, Mike and Lester. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
