He is survived by: his wife Ava Lowery; his children, Bill Lowery Jr. (Cissy) of Henderson, NC, Joe Lowery (Tina) of Oak Hill, WV, Philip Lowery (Jennifer) and NJ; his stepchildren, Andy Lowe (Kristi) of Alvarado, TX, Matthew Lowe (Mary) of Waco, TX and Thomas Jay "TJ" Lowe (Lisa) of Oceanside, CA; and his siblings, James Lowery (Tonna) of Spring, TX and Sue Bailey (Roland) of Woodbridge, VA..

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
