He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Marie Jones (Ridner) and Lonzo Jones; his siblings, Don Jones (Helen), Roy Jones (Juanita), Ronnie Jones (Tiny), David Jones (Vonda), Louise Rose (Hobbie), Lena Murphy (Clinton) and Amanda Jones; his child Donnie Jones; his great grandchild Baylor Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Ross (JR) and Ben Vanover.
He is survived by: his wife Jannie Jones; his children, Laura Taylor (Bubba), Mike Jones and Timmy Jones (Rebecca); his adoptive children, Linda Phelps (John), Melissa Gregory, Luther Jones (Bud), Leslie Price (Terry), Johnny Jones (Wanda) and Crystal Head (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Heavenly Harmse (Pookie), Drew Taylor (Emmie), Tavie Jones, Araya Jones, Willow Jones, Trezdyn Jones, Malikye Jones, Oliver Jones, Chrissa Jones, Hunter Jones, Paige Phelps, Angel Elmore, Wilbert Gregory, Harlie Garland, Jose Jones, Alex Jones, Oaklynn Ross and Dalton Ross (Mariah); his great grandchildren, Max Harmse and Anthony "Tony" Harmse; his brothers, Alex Jones (Faye) and Harold Jones (Judy); and his close friends, Jimmy Head, Boone Perry, Jerry and Anna Mae Shelton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church.
