She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lacy Leach and Mammie Ruth Combest Leach; the father of her children Lowell E. Wilson; and her grandchildren, Aaron Young and Callie Young.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Brummett; her daughters, Stephanie Young Johnson (Lloyd) of Somerset and Sabra Wilson of Arkansas; her sons-in-law, Ron Woolfolk and Wayne Brown; her grandchildren, Evan Gover (Crystal), Azriel Woolfolk and Tucker Gover; her granddaughter-in-law Megghan Young; and her siblings, Doyle "Bill" Leach (Cindy) of Ingle, Darrell Leach (June) of Somerset and Janie Beshears (Darrell) of Nancy. She is also survived by other extended family members, church family and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church Mission Fund or the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund in memory of Wilma Brummett.
