It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey David Ramsey of Sonora, Kentucky, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Jeffrey departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeffrey. Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Jerry D. Ramsey. He is survived by: his mother Lanie Jeffries Ramsey of Sonora, KY; his siblings, Teresa Brawner (Jerry) of McKenzie, TN and Jay Ramsey (Josh) of Barre, VT; and his nieces and nephews, Shawn Ramsey-DiGiulio, Damon Hardy (Rachel), Kelly Hardy, Jon Brawner (Sarah Beth) and Sarah Brownlee (Lenn). He is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, and many special friends.
