We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 76, Lowell Ordale Richardson Sr. of Sonora, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lowell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lowell's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lapsley Richardson and Mary Lorene Richardson; his wife Linda Richardson; and his son Travis Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Richardson, Lowell Richardson Jr. (Angie) of Cecilia, KY, Rebekah Meredith (Richard) of Elizabethtown, KY and Amy Thomas (Jason) of Ekron, KY.; and his partner Alvena. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Manakee Funeral Home (29 W Western Ave, Sonora, KY 42776).
