He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Anderson and Mary Geneva Tucker Routt; and his brother William Lewis Routt. He is survived by: his wife Betty Matthews Routt; his brothers, Robert Routt (Barbara Sue) of Elizabethtown and Glenn Routt (Shari Anne) of Bonnieville; and his brother-in-law Charles Stults (Gale) of Hodgenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
