He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Routt of Larue County and Cap Routt of Larue County; his wife Juanita Hazlewood Routt; and his siblings, Leroy Routt and Bernice Routt Upton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Routt Wilkerson (Bobby) of Upton, KY and Sally Routt Styer (Scot) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Chad Wilkerson of Upton, KY, Morgan Routt (Lynn) of Winchester, KY and Megan Wilkerson of Upton, KY; and his great grandchildren, Bradley, Talon, Hailey Marie, Sierra, Haley Lea, Barrett, Desmond, West and Salem.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home (29 W Western Ave, Sonora, KY 42776). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (709 Main St, Sonora, KY 42776).
