Anna Lee Wells Obituary
We announce the death of Anna Lee Wells of South Shore, Kentucky, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Anna Lee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zachary Marshall and Clara Bell Marshall (Boyles); her husband Ronald Wells; her son Stephen Wells; and her siblings, Avalyne Marshall, Nellie Fay Alexander, Virginia Hieneman, Marilyn Bergman, John Marshall, Ralph Marshall, Earl Marshall, Linda Lou and Freda Sue Marshall.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Baker (Brian) of Lucasville; her grandchildren, Brandi Evans (Adam) of Lucasville, Kyle Hickerson (Tristan) of Minford, Dakota Baker (Sophia Weaver) of St. Petersburg, Florida, Lindsay Jordan Wells of Friendswood, Texas, Kendall Nicole Wells of Friendswood, Texas and Matthew Ronald Wells of Friendswood, Texas; her great grandchildren, Sawyer Evans, Thatcher Evans, Raylan Hickerson, Waylon Hickerson, Bennett Michael Wells-Tarver and Maverick Jay Wells-Medel; her siblings, Dottie Evans of Cumberland, Maryland and Cecil Marshall of South Shore; and her niece Patty Wooten. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (21 Church St, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, they request donations be made in Anna's memory to SOMC Hospice, 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
