It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Turner of South Shore, Kentucky, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Delores leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stamper and Nellie Bradford Stamper; her husband Bill Turner; her brother Charles Stamper; and her stepdaughter Donna Howell.
She is survived by: her stepson Bill Turner (Donna); her stepson-in-law Ed Howell; and her close friend Geneva Boswell. She is also survived by four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (400 Main St, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
