He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Adkins and Lavania Traylor Adkins; and his daughter Corina Delong. He is survived by: his wife Tara Haywood Adkins; his children, David Adkins of South Shore, KY and Jennifer Adkins of South Shore, KY; his sisters, Janet Holbrook of New Boston, OH., Kay Gilliam of South Shore, KY. and Connie Brown (Whitey) of South Shore, KY; and his grandchildren, Davi Lynn Adkins and Erik Delong.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Siloam Cemetery (26007 US-23, South Shore, KY 41175).
