He is survived by: his wife Diana Quillen Kouns; his children, Melissa Welch (Darrell) of Chesapeake, Stephanie Suttman (Mike) of Dayton, Laura Sublett (Tim) of South Shore, Kentucky. and Robert H. Kouns (Jane) of West Portsmouth; his siblings, Chester Kouns (Trish) of South Shore, Dana Hickle, Beverly Dalton of South Shore and Fonteen Nelson (Ron) of West Portsmouth, Ohio.; and his brother-in-law Claude Quillen (Ruth) of South Portsmouth, Kentucky.. He is also survived by grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
