He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert Mudd II and Mary Pauline Thompson Mudd; his nephew Charles Allen Perkins; and his brother-in-law Dr. Sean Looney. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Essex Mudd of Springfield; his sisters, Joann Hutchins (Keith) of Georgetown, Rose Mudd Perkins of Richmond, Helen Mudd of Creve Coeur, ILL and Julie Mudd of New Orleans; his parents-in-law, Billy and Lois Essex of Springfield; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Watson (Jonathan) of Hodgenville and David Essex (Darlene) of Springfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
