He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burton and Marie Willien Burton; and his siblings, Helen Burton, Carol Burton, Jane Whited, Frank, John, Ralph and George Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Winters Burton; his children, Jason Burton (Etta) of Elkton, MD, Brittany Reece (Cody) of Elizabethton, TN, Kelly Burton of Baltimore, MD, Latisha Jones of Amsterdam, NY and Tara Stanley (Brandon) of Butler, TN; and his siblings, Carl Burton of Somerset, PA, Jim Burton (Edna) of Port Deposit, MD, Sue Cox of Lancaster, PA, Shirley Jackson (Andy) of Little Britian, PA and Liz Sheets of North Carolina. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
