He was predeceased by: his parents, Gonza Hutchins and Augustine Hutchins; his daughter Mary Hutchins; and his siblings, Clara Jean Bevins, Mary Elizabeth Sims, Bartholene Hutchins, Catherine Leora Bickett, Theodore Mattingly, Ishmael Mattingly, Zack Mattingly, Bill Mattingly, Elmer Hutchins, Hubert Hutchins, Charles Hutchins and Kenneth Hutchins.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Rose Graves Hutchins; and his children, Joseph Anthony "Tony" Hutchins (Brenda) of Fredericktown, Thomas Gregory Hutchins (Carol Sue) of Manton, Missy Summitt (Joe) of Bloomfield, Gerald K. "Jerry" Hutchins (Charlyn) of Manton and Susan Hutchins of Manton. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
